COMMUNITY SAVERS GRANT
Headway ADP has been successful in securing a grant from the NSW Government's Climate Change Fund Public Facilities Program (Community Savers). The aim of the grants is to fund projects that deliver real savings on water and energy use.
The grant will enable Headway ADP to replace the old single flush
participantsx toilets with new 4 star wels dual flush toilets. We will also be installing a 2000 litre rainwater tank. The water harvested in the tank will be used on the gardens.
The project is estimated to save 760,000 litres of water in the first 10 years.These changes would not have been possible without the grant.
