CARER INFORMATION SESSION

Guest Speaker Dr Alex Walker (Senior Neuropsychologist, Westmead Brain Injury Unit) will present an information session on DEALING WITH CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR.
WHERE: Headway House

TIME:  12.00pm to 1.00pm.

CARER SUPPORT GROUP

Would you like to meet other carers whose spouse or children have also experienced a brain injury. 
We are a support group that meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 12.oopm for 1-2 hours at Headway House.

We talk, we support each other, we share stories and we share strategies on how to care for our loved ones.  In the coming months we plan to invite different professional guest speakers to talk to us bout brain injury related issues.  We also plan to have 4-5 sessions of group outings, lunches and leisure activities for ourselves as carers.
