Community Education

Headway ADP has a powerful panel of guest speakers with "real life" stories on the impact brain injury has had on their lives. Each speaker has developed their own interactive style of presentation to spread their message to the community. Headway ADP speakers conduct presentations at schools, traffic offenders programs, universities and other community organisations.

What happens at a presentation?

  • A short presentation of facts on acquired brain injury. The presentation provides information on the prevalence, causes and effects of acquired brain injury.
  • Two guest speakers provide presentations on how acquired brain injury has affected their lives.
  • Guest speakers may have sustained their injuries through road accidents, falls, assaults, stroke or heart attack.
  • Presentations can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
